Radio Tripoint leads by example for nature conservation in Perl.

As part of its campaign to protect and preserve nature, the cross-border media outlet Radio Tripoint has put its words into action by organising a community litter-picking operation in Perl.

As part of its campaign to protect and preserve nature, the cross-border media outlet Radio Tripoint has put its words into action by organising a community litter-picking operation in Perl.

Several team members were out at particularly busy spots, including around the Fatima chapel, with its impressive view over the Moselle and Luxembourg, and at the Three Borders point, which many drivers, cyclists and walkers pass every day.

Beyond the litter-picking itself, Radio Tripoint wants to convey a simple message: civic responsibility is not a luxury. We have rights, but also duties towards the region we live in.

“Ask not what your country can do for you — ask what you can do for your country.” This famous quote from John F. Kennedy sums up the spirit of this initiative.

“We are very lucky to live in a cross-border region with an exceptional natural heritage. It is up to us to respect it, protect it and pass it on to future generations,” stresses Mr Giorgio, managing director of Radio Tripoint.
