Inauguration of the new sports ground and athletics track in Perl.

On Monday 18 May 2026, the municipality of Perl inaugurated its new sports ground and athletics track, in a convivial gathering of local elected officials, residents, families and association representatives from the border region.

Designed as a place for meeting people and for sport for all, this modern facility provides young people, schools, sports clubs and residents with suitable infrastructure for sport and leisure. The inauguration also featured demonstrations and activities on the ground.

The event showed how important cooperation between the border regions is, in a spirit of closeness, exchange and regional dynamism. Several local figures attended to celebrate this project for young people and for living together.

Radio Tripoint, the cross-border radio, was also there to cover the inauguration and shine a light on local initiatives that strengthen the links between France, Germany and Luxembourg.
