World Cup 2026: France keep going, Germany already qualified.

The 2026 World Cup is gradually entering its decisive phase, and fans in the Three Borders are closely following the progress of France and Germany.

After their convincing win over Senegal (3–1), the French team go into their second match with confidence. Didier Deschamps' side face Iraq on Monday, aiming to move closer to qualifying for the next round. Driven by a Kylian Mbappé in top form, Les Bleus are among the serious contenders for the world title.

On the German side, the situation is already very favourable. Thanks to two wins in their first matches, the team is assured of qualifying for the knockout stage. The Germans still face Ecuador before finding out their opponent for the next round.
